1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of services provided by A Proper Look (ABN 71 431 449 090), operated by Warrick Rundle, Brisbane QLD ("we", "us"). By engaging our services you agree to these terms.

2. Services

We provide AI consultancy and implementation services, including AI-powered phone receptionist services for businesses. The specific scope of each engagement is agreed in writing before work begins.

3. Free trials

Where a free trial period is offered, no payment is required during the trial. After the trial, continued use requires a paid subscription. You may cancel at any time before or during the trial with no charge.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance. All prices are in Australian dollars. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

5. AI phone services — important notice

Our AI receptionist services use automated voice technology to answer phone calls on behalf of your business. You are responsible for ensuring:

• Your customers and callers are made aware they may interact with an automated system, where required by law
• The service is used in compliance with the Telecommunications Act 1997 and applicable Australian Consumer Law
• You have appropriate consent and authority to forward your business calls to our service

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability for any claim arising from these services is limited to the fees paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss.

7. Intellectual property

All materials, scripts, automations, and systems we create for your business during an engagement are licensed to you for use in your business. We retain the right to reuse non-confidential methodologies and approaches in other engagements.

8. Confidentiality

We keep your business information confidential and do not share it with third parties except as required to deliver services (e.g. AI platform providers) or as required by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
